On Rt. Stoncica, NE extremity of Vis, the impressive lighthouse of Stoncica stands. This
is a limestone tower of around 20 metres which stands sentinel over the
Stoncica headland the most north-easterly point of Otok Vis and the
island’s closest point to Hvar.
An isolated rocky patch, with a depth of 10.5m, lies about 5 miles SE of Rt Stoncica. A bank, with a least depth of 22m, is reported to lie about 4 miles E of this patch.

Sur le cap Stoncica, situé à l'extrémité NE de Vis, s'élève le phare impressionant de Stoncica. Il s'agit d'une tour de pierre calcaire d'environ 20 m qui se dresse sur la pointe Stoncica, qui est la pointe la plus au NE de l'île Vis et le point le plus proche de l'île de Hvar.
