The large bay of Porto Botte is located between the tip of Porto Botte to S and the mouth of the river Palmas to N. It faces the island of Sant 'Antioco. The pond Porto Botte is just behind the beach along the bay.
Must stay away from the beach because the funds back quickly. We anchor by about 3 m, by good weather.
It is an exceptional spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing when there is Mistral.

La grande baie de Porto Botte se trouve entre la pointe de Porto Botte, au S et l'embouchure de la rivière Palmas au N. Elle fait face à l'île de Sant' Antioco. L'étang de Porto Botte se trouve juste derrière la plage qui borde la baie.
Il faut rester loin de la plage car les fonds remontent rapidement. On mouille par environ 3 m, par beau temps.
C'est un spot exceptionnel de kitesurf et windsurf par Mistral.

L'ampio baia di Porto Botte si trova tra la punta di Porto Botte, al S e la foce del fiume Palmas al N. Si affaccia l'isola di Sant 'Antioco. Lo stagno di Porto Botte si trova a ridosso della spiaggia che è lungo la baia. Bisogna restare distanti dalla spiaggia dalla spiaggia, perchè i fondali sono piuttosto scarsi. Si ancora da circa 3 m con bello tempo.
E' uno spot eccezionale di kitesurf e di windsurf con il maestrale

Punta Menga (or Punta Candiani) is located W Porto Pino. It is covered with low végétation and is 31 m high. The tip is known locally as Candiani. The name comes from the anti-aircraft battery-called anti-ship, of Admiral Camillo Candiani, located on Punta Menga.
Porto Pino is bordered in its southern part by a rocky coastline with high dunes. N coast is formed instead of a low range. The tip Menga limits Porto Pino W. A lagoon, behind the sand dunes, homes several colonies of flamingos.
