Ston Stonski Kanal

The little town lies at the bottom of Stonski Kanal.

The channel from Broce to Ston is marked by five red lights at Port and 2 green lights to starboard.

Warning to a submerged obstruction to about 70 m NNW of the end of the pier Broce, you have to go to the end of the pier to prevent it.
From Broce stay in the middle of the channel. There is very little depth outside the channel.
Near Ston salt works are lined by a low wall and marshlands.
Pass the traffic light at the end of the short pier of Ston and continue to the dock.
Beware, the boats engaged in the channel precedence.
Can moor along the wharf at the bottom of the channel by 3 m deep.
You can anchor the middle of the fairway, away from the dock.
Good protection.
The towns of Ston and Mali Stonsont surrounded by thick walls and towers and are connected by a fortified wall on the hill.
The Republic of Dubrovnik began to build a canal across the isthmus connecting the two cities, but it was never completed.

Le chenal de Broce à Ston est balisé par 5 feux rouges à bâbord et 2 feux verts à tribord.
Attention à une obstruction submergée à environ 70 m au NNW de l'extrémité du môle de Broce, il faut passer à l'extrémité du môle pour l'éviter.
A partir de Broce rester au milieu du canal. Il y a très peu de fond en dehors du chenal.

Près de Ston se trouvent des salines bordées d'un mur bas et des terrains marécageux.
Passer le feu situé à l'extrémité du petit môle de Ston et continuer jusqu'au quai.

Attention, les bateaux engagés dans le chenal ont priorité.

On peut s'amarrer le long du quai au fond du chenal, par 3 m de fond.
On peut mouiller au milieu du chenal, à l'écart du quai.

Les villes de Ston et Mali Stonsont entourées de murs épais et de tours et sont reliées par une muraille fortifiée sur la colline.
La République de Dubrovnik commença à construire un canal à travers l'isthme joignant les deux villes, mais il ne fut jamais achevé.
