Spalmadore di Terra, a bight, lies at the SW end of Isola Tavolara and offers anchorage, in a depth of 20m, about midway between the entrance points. This berth is exposed to SE winds which send in a heavy sea.
Several houses stand at the head of the bight and a conspicuous lime kiln is situated on its E side.
A low, narrow, and sandy peninsula extends 0.5 mile SW and forms the NW side of this bight. A shoal area extends up to 0.5 mile NW of this sandy peninsula and Isolotto Verde, Isolotto Spalmatore, and numerous rocks lie on it.

Spalmatore di Terra est une presqu'île, située au sud-ouest de l'île Tavolara.
Elle offre un mouillage à environ le milieu de l'entrée de la baie, par 20 m. Ce mouillage est exposé aux vents de SE qui génèrent une forte mer.
Plusieurs maisons s'élèvent au fond de la baie et un four à chaux remarquable est situé sur le côté E.
Une péninsule basse, étroite et sablonneuse s'étend à 0.5 mile au SW et forme le côté nord-ouest de cette boucle. Un haut-fond s'étend jusqu'à 0,5 mile au NW de la péninsule de sable et Isolotto Verde, Isolotto Spalmatore, et de nombreux rochers s'étendent au large.
De Mai à Novembre on peut rencontrer au restaurant le roi de Tavolara. C'est la plus petite royauté au monde reconnu par le roi Victor Emmanuel.
