Passo della Moneta s'étend entre l'île Maddalena et l'île Caprera. Le passage a une profondeur minimale de 1,5 m et est emprunté par les petits bateaux à moteur. La partie S du passage est traversée par pont large de 21 m et un tirant d'air de 4,6 m.
