Marina Sifredi, SW Sardinia, is on the E side of Isola di San Pietro, close to the only town on the island, Caloforte.Marina Sifredi has two marinas located respectively in the North and South of Caloforte harbour.
Sifredi marina is in the N and S area of Caloforte harbour.
Mamma Mahon marina, N, in the heart of the historic center, offers all the services of the city.
Dei Penicotteri marina, S, is ajacent to the old salt, and is quieter.
The port is sheltered by two main breakwaters but NE and SE quadrants also cause heavy seas in the harbor.
Several shoals lie in the approach and two narrow channels lead to the harbor entrance. Both are marked by lighted buoys and indicated by range beacons, some lighted.
From its position it is the ideal base for cruising around south
Sardinia and and the extreme point to go to the Balearic Islands,
Tunisia, Sicily.
It is the only inhabited center of the island San Pietro.
Carloforte
was founded around 1738 by a group of fishermen Ligurian (people
already Tabarca, Tunisia) where they hid from pirates. Califortins
retained the language and culture Ligure. They are traditionally linked
to fishing and navigation.

Marina Mamma Mahon, au N, au cœur du centre historique, offre tous les services de la ville.
Marina dei Penicotteri, adjacente aux vielles salines, est plus tranquille.
Le port est abrité par deux brises-lames, mais les vents de NE et SE provoquent une forte houle dans le port.
A l'approche, il faut éviter plusieurs bancs en prenant deux canaux étroits qui mènent à l'entrée de la marina. Tous deux sont balisés par des bouées dont certaines sont éclairées.
De par sa position c'est la base idéale pour les croisières autour de la
Sardaigne méridionale et la pointe extrême pour partir pour les
Baléares, la Tunisie, la Sicile.
C'est l'unique centre habité de l'ile San Pietro.
Carloforte
fut fondée vers 1738 par un groupe de pêcheurs liguriens (déjà
habitants de Tabarca, en Tunisie) où ils se cachèrent des pirates. Les
califortins conservèrent la langue et la culture de Ligure. Ils sont
traditionnellement liés à la pèche et à la navigation.

Il porto di carloforte si trova nel SW della Sardegna, sulla costa E dell'isola di S.Pietro, nell'unica città dell'isola, Carloforte.Marina Sifredi dispone di due approdi turistici situati rispettivamente nella parte Nord e Sud del Porto di
Carloforte.
Il marina Mamma Mahon, a Nord, nel cuore del centro storico è in
posizione ideale per usufruire comodamente di tutti i servizi offerti
dalla cittadina.
A Sud, il marina Dei Penicotteri, adiacente alle vecchie saline, garantisce privacy e tranquillità.
Il porto di Caloforte è protteto da due dighe foranee, ma i venti NE e SE causano un rigonfiamento nella marina.
Nell'approccio bisogna evitatare banchi prendendo due stretti canali che conducono all'ingresso del porto turistico. Entrambi sono segnati da boe, alcuni dei quali sono illuminati.
Dalla sua posizione è la base ideale per le crociere intorno alle
coste della Sardegna meridionale e un ottimo punto di partenza per le
Baleari, la Tunisia, la Sicilia.
E' l'unico centro abitato sul'isola di San Pietro.
