Description

The city and port, well sheltered, are located in the NE corner of Big Bay Komiza on the coast of W O. Vis.
The breakwater of the harbor is obvious with the light at its end.
Approaching from the N, go to the W of the island of Mali Barjak which carries a light.
NW are Plicina Seget (10.4 m) and Plicina Ploca (9.7 m), these shoals are surrounded by large funds.
Approaching from the E and S, N Cape Stupisce near the coast there is a rock under 3 feet of water.
The harbor and anchorage in the NE corner of the bay offers good shelter except from W and SW winds.
Komiza is a port of entry in the summer.

La ville et le port, bien abrité se trouvent dans l'angle NE de la grande baie Komiza, sur la côte W d'O. Vis.

Le brise-lames du port se voit bien avec le feu à son extrémité.

En approchant par le N, passer à l'W de l'île de Mali Barjak qui porte un feu.
Au NW se trouvent Plicina Seget (10,4 m) et Plicina Ploca (9,7 m), ces hauts-fonds sont entourés de fonds importants.
En approchant par l'E et le S, au N du cap Stupisce, près de la côte il y a un rocher sous 3 m d'eau.

Le port et le mouillage dans l'angle NE de la baie offrent un bon abri sauf des vents d'W et SW.

Komiza est un port d'entrée en été.
