Cala Cipolla is just S of Chia bay and before Spartivento cape. An islet separated from the mainland by a narrow isthmus is an ideal base to anchor, even for the night.
It is well protected from the winds (NW and E) and offers good anchorage by 4/5 m.

Cala Cipolla se trouve juste au S de la baie de Chia, et avant le cap Spartivento. Un îlot séparé de la côte par un isthme étroit est un point d'ancrage idéal, même pour la nuit.
Elle est bien protégée des vents (E et NW) et offre un bon mouillage par 4/5 m.

Cala Cipolla si trova dopo la baia di Chia, e prima il capo Spartivento. Un isolotto separato dalla costa da un istmo appena sommerso, è una bas ideale per un ancoraggio anche notturno.
E' ben protetta dei venti (E e NW) e fornisce un buono ancoraggio in 4/5 m.
Spartivento cape is at about 5 km SW of Chia. The granite promontory is 66 m above sea level.
Passing the fort you should be wary of two shoals covered with 3.5 m and 11.5 m near the E.

The Padiglioni are 4 rocks of steep granit separated by channels where circulate occasionally strong currents. Rocks provide shelter from the N winds and Sirocco, if they are not too strong.
