This is
the stretch of sea that penetrates Molat of nearly 2.5 million towards
the NW and offers many opportunities for moorings.
By SW, be careful when approaching the zone of shoals and islets in front of the bottom edge NW of Dugi Otok. Coming
from the SW, the channel prolaz Maknare, two shallow as 11 m and 6.5 m
under certain conditions can create a very rough sea. From the SE by the Zverinacki Kanal, watch out for dangerous rocks and shoals at the end of the NW channel. Approaching the E, the Sestrunjski kanal, access is between O. Tun Veli and O. Tun Mali. There are lights on either side of the channel. The transition between Mali and Molat is shallow.
