Description

Zadar county, extends from S island Pag on north to town Drage on the south.

This county has been inhabitated since antiquity and has many historic monuments.

Zadar is center of N Dalmatia,  it is situated on peninsula, protecting one of the largest natural Adriatic harbours.

It has several national parks and natural areas, most well known being the "Paklenica National Park" and the Kornati archipelago.

La région de Zadar, s'étend de la partie S de l'île de Pag au N, jusqu'à la ville de Drage au S.

Cette région a été habitée depuis l'Antiquité et a de nombreux monuments historiques.

Zadar est le centre de la Dalmatie du N, elle est située sur une presqu'île qui protège l'un des plus grand ports naturels de l'Adriatique.

Cette zone comprend quelques parc nationaux et zones naturelles, dont le plus connu est le "Paklenica National Park" et l'archipel des Kornati.
