Description

Surnommée "l'île longue", Dugi Otok est un paradis pour pêcheurs.
Elle est la dernière des îles de l'archipel des Kornati.
L'île comprend onze villages et de nombreuses plages isolées, tous havres de paix. Le poisson frais n'y manque jamais ! Vous êtes à quelques milles du Parc National de TELASCICA, magnifique pour la baignade et la plongée.

Il peut être difficile d'y trouver de l'eau qui provient de citernes ou qui est apportée par bateau depuis le continent. On peut s'en procurer au poste de carburant près du terminal du Ferry à Uvala Triluke (Zaglav).

Dugy Otok est longue de 24 M du NW au SE et large de 2,5 M.
La côte W est essentiellement accore avec des falaises, elle offre peu d'abris.
La côte E est plus basse, les fonds y sont plus faibles et elle offre plusieurs ports et mouillages.
Les extrémités N et S de l'île sont toutes deux échancrées et constituent d'excellents abris de toutes les directions.
La plupart des agglomérations sont sur la côte E.
