San Jorge gulf lies between Cabo de Tortosa and Cabo de Salou.
The S part of the Gulf, oriented to the WNW, is bordered by lands very low and swampy of delta of the Ebro, which extend up to 11 NM about the mainland. The bottom of the gulf, facing NE, is bordered by the Sierra de Balaguer that is extended towards the lands interior, at SW and NE, by high peaks.

Le golfe de San Jorge se trouve entre le cap Tortosa et le cap de Salou.
La partie S du golfe, orientée à l'WNW, est bordée par les terres très basses et marécageuses du delta de l'Ebre qui s'étendent jusqu'à 11 MN environ de la terre ferme. Le fond du golfe, orienté au NE, est bordé par la Sierra de Balaguer qui est prolongée vers l'intérieur des terres, au SW et au NE, par des pics élevés.
