La côte est saine en dehors du haut-fond rocheux de Cura situé dans le SE de Fuengirola. On peut mouiller dans l'W du village par 20m d'eau. Le port se trouve près du centre ville. Il offre un accueil plaisance dans l'E de son implantation. Attention l'accès du port est difficile par fort vent de SE. Une ferme marine est installée à 3 M à l'ENE du port (marques spéciales lumineuses).
