A l'extrémité Nord-Est de l'île de Port-Cros, la pointe de la Galère est une des plus belles plongées du Parc National.

La zone, fortement soumise au vent et aux embruns, est interdite au mouillage, mais depuis deux ans il existe une bouée réservée en priorité aux clubs de plongée sur laquelle on peut assurer un mouillage.

La plongée se fait le long d'une pointe rocheuse qui descend jusqu'à 34 mètres, et qui mesure 6-7 mètres de hauteur. Le côté Est est un fond de sable, alors que l'Ouest est couvert de posidonie.
