Pointe de la Tour Fondue, located 0.7 mile WSW of Cap de l’Esterel, is a projecting point surmounted by an old fort. Port de la Tour Fondue, a small harbor, lies close NNE of the point and is used mainly by ferry boats serving Iles d’Hyeres.

Le port de la Tour Fondue est réservé aux navires assurant la desserte de l'île de Porquerolles.
Le stationnement est interdit à la plaisance.
La tour fondue est un ancien fortin délabré, vestige d'une ancienne tour défensive du 17ème construite sous Richelieu, au sud de la presqu'île. Elle permet de localiser aisément le petit port réservé aux navires assurant la desserte de l'île de Porquerolles.
C'est une zone abritée des vents d'E ou du Mistral de part et d'autre de la pointe.
