La Côte d'Azur est la partie du littoral méditerranéen français délimitée à l'ouest par la ville de Cassis (ou d'Hyères selon certains), et à l'est par Menton (à la frontière italienne).
En quittant Cassis dominé le plaisancier passera sous le Cap Canaille, une des plus hautes falaises maritimes d'Europe pour rejoindre La Ciotat. Plus à l'est, le département du Var avec la Rade de Toulon et les îles d'Or qui offrent de nombreux mouillages.
Puis vient la Côte d'Azur qui s'étend jusqu'à la frontière italienne en passant par le territoire de la principauté de Monaco. Côte très variée avec Cavalaire, la plus longue plage de sable de la côte, les baies de St Tropez , Fréjus et Cannes.
Les îles de Lerins en face de Cannes connaissent aux beaux jours l'affluence des plaisanciers qui y trouvent un abris sûr dans un environment encore sauvage.
A l'est, le Cap d'Antibes et ses villas somptueuses, la Baie des Anges autour de Nice, Le Cap Ferrat, la principauté et Menton la ville frontière.
