Important trafic de pirogues, seul moyen de transport local.Tumaco est relié par route à la Colombie; la ville dispose d'un aéroport desservi chaque jour par un DC 3; c'esdt aussi la base d'hélicos utilisés dans la lutte contre les narco-trafiquants.Chenal éclairé à suivre impérativement.

Approach:
The entrance to Tumaco is a controlled military channel. You have to call "Guardacosta" on channel 16 at the sea buoy.

Mouillage en face des Costaguardas, une facilité pour laisser l'annexe à leur ponton.

Formalités nécessitant un déclarant en douane, aide active de la marine pour les démarches.

Service de bus pour la ville.

On trouve de tout à des prix défiants toute concurrence.

Avitaillement en eau et fuel à une station service marine de la ville -déplacement à marée haute.
