Description

Kamenjak is the most southern end of Istrian peninsula located near Medulin popular tourist resort, and Banjole and Premantura villages.
It has been proclaimed as nature park and it is under special protection.
Kamenjak is long, narrow peninsula, about 9.5 km long and as wide as 1.5 km.The entire coastline of the cape is 30 km long dotted with numerous inlets, coves miniature beaches and small islands.

Kamenjak is especially attractive for diving enthusiasts because of its fascinating underwater world. Windsurfers also discovered this place and set their base in Premantura.

An area of rocks and shoals share on 2.2 million toward the SW from Cape Kamenjak (S tip of the peninsula Premantura).

In southern parts of the cape it is necessary to be careful because of strong sea currents. Caution is especially needed during high/low tide change.

Kamenjak est l'extrémité la plus au sud de la péninsule d'Istrie, situé près de Medulin, populaire et lieu de villégiature pour les touristes, et  les villages de Banjole et Premantura .
Kamenjak est une longue et étroite péninsule, d'environ 9,5 km de long et 1,5 km de large. Il a été proclamé  parc naturel protégé. Toute la côte du cap est de 30 km de long est parsemée de nombreuses criques, calanques plages miniatures et des petites îles.

Kamenjak est particulièrement intéressante pour les amateurs de plongée en raison de son monde sous-marin fascinant. Les windsurfers également ont découvert ce lieu et définit leur base à Premantura.

Une zone de roches et de hauts-fonds part sur 2,2 M vers le SW depuis le cap Kamenjak (pointe S de la péninsule Premantura).

Dans le sud du cap existent des forts courants marins. La prudence est particulièrement nécessaire pendant le changement de marée.
