Description

The 14 Elafiti islands are located along the coast between Dubrovnik and the Peljesac peninsula.

The main islands are: Daksa, Kolocep, Lopud, Ruda, Sipan, Jakljan, Crkvina, Tajan, Olip and Andrija island.

Only three islands are inhabited: Sipan, the largest, Lopud, Kolocep.

Boca Falsa and the south side of Olip their bare rocks, we report that this place is one of the locations of the Adriatic's most exposed to blows of the waves of the south.

However, there are several sheltered anchorages in these islands.

Les 14 îles et îlots Elaphites bordent la côte entre Dubrovnik et la péninsule de Peljesac.

Les principales îles sont: Daksa, Kolocep, Lopud, Ruda, Sipan, Jakljan, Crkvina, Tajan, Olipa et l'îlot Andrija.

Seules trois îles sont habitées: Sipan, la plus grande, Lopud, Kolocep.

Boca, Falsa et le côté sud de l’Olipa par leurs rochers nus, nous signalent que cet endroit est l’un des endroits de l’Adriatique les plus exposés aux coups des vagues du sud.

On trouve cependant plusieurs mouillages abrités dans ces îles.

Otok Sipan

It is the largest and most populated island of the group Elafiten. It rises to 234 m at its N and a prominent hill rises 224 m NW of the SE end.
Ruda is a small island that is 0.5 M SE of the NE extremity of the island and Misnjaka, 13 m high, lies close off the NW extremity.

Otok Lopud

The island of Lopud belongs Elaphites. It is only 4.6 km2.
It has a pleasant village and some old buildings. You'll find a sandy beach.
There are two good anchorages: uvala Lopud (NW of the island), where is the village and uvala Sunj (SE of the island).

Otoc Jakljan, fronted by islets  (Kosmec and Crvina) on its N side, lies close NW of the SW extremity of Otoc Sipan.

Large bay on the NW coast of O. Lopud. The village is located SE of the bay with a dock for the ferry.
We anchored on the beachfront by 5 / 7 m.
Open to the N and NW.
Good anchorage for the night.

This bay is located S of Lopud.
Several rocks Hrid Skupjeli, and a small island, O. Velika Skupio, Rt Mrcica extend to the SE. There was a rock in SE O. Velika Skupio to W.
