Description

Entre le cap S. Marco et le cap Mannu la côte est en générale basse. A 2,7 M au NW du phare de cap S. Marco la tour ronde Sevo est bien visible du large.
Devant cette partie de la côte se trouvent le rocher "Il Catalano" et l'îlot "Mal-di-Ventre".
Au NE du cap Manu se trouve l'îlot de "Sa Tonnara".
Entre le cap Manu et le cap Maragiu, la côte est plutôt élevée, elle est jalonnée par de nombreuses tours rondes et grises, presque toutes semblables et qui se confondent avec le terrain environnant.
L'île Rossa est reliée à la côte par une digue. Elle abrite le petit port de Bosa Marina.
La rade d'Alghero s'ouvre entre la pointe rocheuse sur laquelle est bâtie la ville et le cap Galera, situé à 3M dans l'W. La partie E de la côte est basse et sablonneuse jusqu'à la "pointe del Gallo". A partir de cette pointe, la partie W est rocheuse et élevée. Des hauts-fonds débordent la côte surtout dans la partie E.
Dans la partie E de la rade se trouve l'îlot Maddalena.
Le cap Galera termine au SE un large promontoire accidenté qui sépare la rade d'Alghero de la baie de Porto-Conte.
Entre le cap Caccia et la pointe delle Gessiere, la côte est élevée et escarpée. On y trouve l'îlot Foradada ainsi que l'îlot Piana.
A partir de Port Ferru la côte s'élève de nouveau jusqu'au cap Falcone. L'îlot Porri, vu du NW se confond avec la côte.
