Capo Coda Cavallo a Capo Comino (Sardegna)



From Coda Cavallo cape the coast is rather flat with large cultivated areas. The shores are generally low and sandy with beaches with very white.

SW Coda Cavallo Cape the port Brandinghi (Brandinchi) provides a good anchorage, except in cases of E winds. To access to anchorage you must to pass between Rossa island and the Testa di moro rock.

A 1 NM S Ottiolo tip of that is rocky,  Ottiolo (Petrosa) island is extended to E by a chain of small rocks.

Pedrami Rocks emerge 1 NM NE tip of the same name.

The small town of Siniscola is bordered by Caletta port, sheltered from all winds.

After S. Lucia point, Comino Cape is low, rocky and its surroundings are unhealthy. It has a lighthouse.

N Cape, the  Ruia (Rossa) island is surrounded by shoals.
A partir du Cap Coda Cavallo la côte est plutôt plate avec de larges espaces cultivés. Les rives sont en générale basses et sablonneuses avec des plages très blanches.

Au SW du Cap Coda Cavallo le port Brandinghi (Brandinchi) offre un bon mouillage, sauf en cas de vents d'E. On accède au mouillage en passant entre l'île Rossa et le rocher Testa di moro.

A 1 M au S de la pointe d'Ottiolo qui est rocheuse, l'îlot d'Ottiolo (Petrosa), est prolongée vers l'E par une chaîne de petits rochers.

Les rochers Pedrami émergent à 1 M au NE de la pointe du même nom.

La petite ville de Siniscola est bordée par le port de la Caletta, abrité de tous les vents.

Après la pointe S. Lucia, le Cap Comino est bas, rocheux et ses abords sont malsains. Il porte un phare.

Au N du cap, l'île Ruia (Rossa) est entourée de hauts-fonds.

Da Cape Coda Cavallo la costa è piuttosto piatta con grandi aree coltivate. Le coste sono in genere basse e sabbiose, con molto spiagge bianche.

SW Capo Coda Cavallo il porto Brandinghi (Brandinchi) fornisce un buon ancoraggio, eccezione dei venti di E. Si accede all'ancoraggio passando tra l'isola Rossa e la roccia Testa di moro.

A 1 MN S punta di Ottiolo che è rociosa, l'isolotto di Ottiolo (Petrosa) è estero a E da una catena di piccole rocce.

Rocce Pedrami emergono a 1 MN NE della punta dello stesso nome.

La piccola città di Siniscola è delimitato da porto Caletta, al riparo da tutti i venti.

Dopo il picco S. Lucia, Capo Comino è basso, roccioso ed i suoi dintorni sono malsani. Ha un faro.

N del Capo, l'isola Ruia (Rossa) è circondata da banchi.
