Jablanac is a small town, situated on the mainland at the E side of the entrance to the N part of Velebitski Kanal. It stands at the head of a small bay and is fronted by a small craft harbor which is used by ferries.

A light is shown from Rt Gradic close N of the harbor.
The fairway of Velebitski kanal is only 1 NM in this vicinity and may easily be navigated as the mainland coast is barren and precipitous.

Jablanac est une petite ville, située sur le continent, sur le côté E de l'entrée dans la partie N de Velebitski Kanal. Elle est située dans une petite baie, c'est un port pour petits bateaux qui est utilisé par les ferries.

Un feu se trouve sur Rt Gradic, au N du port.

Le chenal de kanal Velebitski n'est large que de 1 NM dans ces parages et peut facilement être parcouru alors que la côte continentale est aride et escarpée.
