La Sardaigne devint une région autonome de l'Italie en 1948.La Sardaigne offre des criques et des plages relativement calmes. Les propriétaires de bateaux et les utilisateurs (y compris les étrangers qui visitent en yachts) seront soumis à une taxe journalière pour la durée de leur séjour dans les eaux italiennes. Cette taxe entrera en vigueur le 1er mai 2012.
