Flag_En Ajman (also spelt Ujman) is one of the 7 emirates constituting the UAE. With an area of just 260 km², Ajman is the smallest emirate by area. Its seat of governement is Ajman, which is bordered on its north, south, and east by Sharjah. 

Located along the Persian Gulf, Ajman also ontrols Masfut and Manama, two small inland enclaves (Manama and Masfout) that are primarily agricultural.

Ajman is another word for a small city in Arabic.
