The town of Tossa is a a seaside resort famous for its white houses and its many beaches like Playa Grande, Playa El Codolar and Playa de Mar Menuda.

It is on the W side of a small bay, just N of the Cape of Tossa and limited to the E by the tip of La Palma point,  extended by  the island of the same name.

This bay ensures a good sheltered from the SW and N winds.

You can anchor in 16 feet of water in the ENE of the lighthouse, at about 250 m from the beach.

La ville de Tossa est une station balnéaire célèbre pour ses maisons blanches et ses nombreuses plages comme la Playa Grande, la Playa El Codolar et la Playa de Mar Menuda. 
Elle se trouve sur le côté W d'une petite baie, juste au N du cap de Tossa et limitée à l'E par la pointe de La Palma, prolongée par l'île du même nom.

Cette baie garantit un bon abri des vents du SW et du N.

On peut mouiller par 16 m d'eau dans l'ENE du phare, à environ 250 m de la plage.
