The outer anchorages, SW of Fort Taylor and about 1 mile SSE of Eastern Triangle Light, are favored by deep-draft vessels.
They are somewhat exposed, but have depths of 22 to 36 feet and are safe for vessels with good ground tackle.

Flag_Fr Les navire à fort TE peuvent mouiller au SW de Fort Taylor, au SSE à environ 1 M de l'E de Triangle Light.

Le mouillage est quelquefois exposé et les profondeurs sont de 7 à 11 m, par un fond de bonne tenue.
