West of Calvi, Porto Vecchio bay, (not to be confused with the city to the south of Corsica) extends deep into the shore steep and high.
It offers good shelter from the north wind in the East, but no by Libeccio. Beware of rocks, 17m high, in the southern part which stands at the entrance.

Coming from the West, this entry is released to the bottom of the cove where we anchor on depths of rock and grass by 4 to 6m.

The beautiful cave Veaux Marins hollow shore high and very rugged northern tip Ricci, south of the cove of Porto Vecchiu. A beautiful site for diving. It is possible to enter with the dinghy.

Flag_Fr A l'ouest de Calvi, l'anse Porto Vecchio, (à ne pas confondre avec la ville au Sud Est de la Corse) s'enfonce profondément dans le rivage escarpé et élevé. 

Elle offre un bon abri par vent du Nord à l'Est, mais nul par Libeccio. Attention au rochers, haut de 17m, dans la partie Sud en entrant, qui se dresse à l'entrée.

En venant de l'Ouest, cette entrée est dégagée jusqu'au fond de l'anse où l'on mouille sur des fonds de roche et d'herbe par 4 à 6m.

La belle grotte des Veaux Marins creuse le rivage élevé et très déchiqueté au Nord de la pointe Ricci, au Sud de l'anse de Porto Vecchiu. Un très beau site pour la plongée sous-marine. Il est possible d'y pénétrer en annexe.
