From the "Mesa de Roldan" and to Cape Tinoso, the coast has a curvature called wide open Gulf of Vera.The Murcia Region is an autonomous community of Spain located in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. It is surrounded by the Autonomous Community of Valencia (Alicante), the Mediterranean, Andalusia (Almería and Granada) and Castilla-La Mancha. Murcia's coastline is 274 km long and has the added attraction of "two seas"; of the Mediterranean with its white sand beaches, magnificent cliffs, lively ports and picturesque coves and the Mar Menor, which was originally an open bay, but is now a large coastal lake of warm seawater measuring 170 km ². The waters have an average depth of 3.5 meters. Inland are conservation areas with mountain peaks reaching 2001 meters.
